Coco and Ellie were two cockatiels that were given to me by my dad, he went intohospital and could
not care for them when he came home, they lived with us for over 10 years, They were a noisy lively
pair especially coco the male,he loved tohear the sound of his own voice, He was a bit naughty to
ellie at times he use to peck her on the head, their cage was kept open and they used to come out
and sit on your shoulder, coco used to eat the newspaper if you we reading it,They were good fun and
I loved them the house is very quiet without them.

• The only way we can be protected from the pain of loss and the grief we feel, is by having never loved.
• How empty our lives would be, and what a lot of wonderful shared moments we would have missed, if we had not known.
• So, although what we feel at the moment is terrible, we must try to remember that it is because we have all been privileged to have known and loved, that we now feel the pain and sadness.
